A data gateway at every site. Not a hole in any firewall.
The Gateway is lightweight data infrastructure.

What a Gateway does
A Gateway installs inside one of your Locations and connects outbound to the platform, then waits for work. When a query arrives, it executes the matching connector against the source system under the user's translated identity and streams results back. It never accepts an inbound connection, so no firewall holes, no VPN mesh and no exposed databases.
- Connects outbound only — the platform never reaches into your network.
- Waits for work, then runs connector queries against the source.
- Runs the user's translated identity — never a shared service account.
- Lightweight install with managed updates.
A Location is an organizing concept — HQ, a subsidiary, a plant, a cloud tenant. Each gets its own Gateway. Networks that have never been bridged stay that way: the Gateway reaches out, so you consolidate across every site without a single inbound rule.
Connectors a Gateway runs
A Gateway runs the platform's connectors. The catalog spans native SAP connectors, databases and warehouses, business applications, Microsoft 365 & BI, and open interfaces.
These are popular examples, not the full list — new connectors ship regularly, and through ODBC, OData and web interfaces a Gateway reaches virtually any system with a driver or API. Missing a source you need? Just ask.
Databases & warehouses
ODBC covers tables, raw SQL and stored procedures — virtually any database with a driver.

Power BI Semantic Models become queryable datasets in Excel, Python, R or via MCP — your semantic-layer investment travels to every client.

Small install footprint, outbound-only networking and managed updates keep the Gateway invisible to day-to-day operations while staying current.
